Anyone There

Postby Lee » Mon Dec 26, 2005 2:32 am

Good Grief!

Seems like forever ago! Was just looking through the photos last night (my mum made me tidy my room for Christmas!) so :) after a long food-filled day I am online going over stuff.

I'm still in St Andrews (feels like I've been there forever) but should be finishing this summer. Doing French and Social Anthropology, which really isn't that exciting, but am having fun, especially with the extra-curricular things. Been doing quite a bit of theatre, including Dancing At Lughnasa by Friel last year and The Laramie Project (about the brutal murder of gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard in 1998) this winter.

In went out to Mongolia a couple of summer ago for nine weeks to volunteer as a care assistant, working with former street children and children who ran away/ were removed from abusive families. Was eye opening, but totally amazing.

If any of you guys ever stumble on here, or if anyone knows what has happened to the members of the wonderful Cyprus team, gimme a shout. My e mail is bigspenderlee@hotmail.com (as ever!)

Take care, and Merry (rest of) Christmas and all the best of everything for 2006!
